Fond Farewells

The past few weeks have been sad ones for Kilcranny House as we have had to say farewell to two of our long-term International volunteers.

Firstly we had to bid farewell to Simon Riebs who has been with Kilcranny House for a year as part of the EIRENE volunteering scheme.Simon has returned to Germany to begin a hectic univerity life. Secondly we have to say goodbye to Beth Krehbiel who has recently returned to America after a two year stay at Kilcranny House as part of the Bretheren Volunteer Scheme.

Both Beth and Simon have made a significant difference to Kilcranny House throughout their time here, Beth through her commitment to the Kilcranny ethos and Simon via his natural & technical abilities.  Both Beth & Simon will continue to be considered valued members of the Kilcranny House family and we wish them both great success in their chosen futures.

On a lighter note however we have also just welcomed Eva Gauggel to the Kilcranny team. Eva joins us from EIRENE also and is currently settling in to the Kilcranny way of life.
